For more than 40 years, Rite of Passage has been dedicated to improving the lives of youth and creating pathways to successful adulthood. We are seeking an experienced, mission-driven executive leader to serve as the Clinical Director for Canyon State Academy and Desert Lily Academy, two residential campuses offering therapeutic services and located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Arizona.

Both academies are situated on a beautiful 180-acre campus and offers an environment unlike any other residential treatment program. The campuses include student housing, a football stadium, athletic center, gymnasium, wrestling facility, fully equipped weight room, farm program, thrift store, café, and barbershop that serve both students and the local community. This is a rare opportunity to lead a comprehensive treatment environment where clinical care, education, vocational programming, recreation, and life skills development come together to create lasting change.

What you will do:

The Clinical Director provides leadership, oversight, and management of all clinical services. This position ensures delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, and evidence-based treatment while maintaining full compliance with Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS), AHCCCS, HIPAA, and all applicable state and federal regulations. The Clinical Director serves as the primary clinical leader for the programs, provides clinical supervision in support of Rite Path’s mission and values.

The Clinical Director serves as the senior leader of the overall strategic execution and service delivery of clinical, case management, medical, and regulatory performance of the program.

This position provides leadership to multidisciplinary teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, clinical excellence, and positive outcomes for youth and families served. The ideal candidate is an experienced behavioral health administrator who understands the complexities of residential treatment and the youth population.

Qualifications: 
  • Must be Clinically Licensed: (LPC), (LAC), (LCSW), (LMSW), (LMFT), (LAMFT), (LISAC),(LASAC)
  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, healthcare, child welfare, or human services.
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and complex treatment environments.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health regulations, licensing requirements, and treatment operations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry review, physical examination, TB screening, and drug screening (THC excluded).

Skills Required
