- Coordinate and bring together climate-related work to ensure effective implementation and execution of climate initiatives in Bank.
- Identify relevant climate-related research areas and assist in the research work.
- Administer the progress of research work and monitor climate-related goals set.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Coordinate responses, input, technical support to senior management –presentation slides, speeches, talking points, notes, press statements
- Analyse and assess Bank’s climate-related strategies and initiatives, and identify emerging areas that Bank should consider.
- Build strong network to ensure effective cross-sectoral working arrangements to achieve organisational goals.
- Participate as a resource person in workshops or forum on climate change that the Bank organizes or has been invited to.
- Assist in regional and domestic network secretarial work (e.g. JC3, NGFS, ASEAN) e.g. set meeting, send meeting invitation, assist in slides preparation, draft talking points for senior management, prepare meeting minutes, keep record of relevant documents.
- Maintain strong collaboration internally and externally to exchange views, provide inputs, identify new developments and best practices.
- Undertake administrative functions and other ad-hoc assignments.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Sustainable Finance, Environmental-related areas. Finance, Accounting, Economics Statistics, Islamic Finance, where applicable.
