Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Climate Risk Assessment and strategic planning:
Work with a cross functional team to conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and evaluate climate-related risks to our operations, supply chain, and stakeholders.
Utilize scientific data and modeling tools to forecast potential impacts of climate change on business operations and infrastructure.
Based on relationships with legal, finance, external partners, industry peers, and relevant organizations, translate industry best practices and compliance reporting requirements into a tangible reporting system aligned with the company’s strategies.
Develop and implement appropriate strategies to mitigate resilience to climate-related hazards.

Emissions Management:
Develop and implement strategies to monitor, report, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions across all Bose facilities.
Support the integration of all emissions related data into the companies GHG accounting software. Develop and deliver all climate related internal and external reporting. For scope 3, work closely with internal business data owners to define reporting requirements. Work with internal and external partners to identify and report on scope 3 related emissions.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to identify emission reduction opportunities and implement best practices.

Sustainability Initiatives:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate climate considerations into sustainability initiatives and corporate strategies.
Identify and pursue opportunities for renewable energy procurement, energy efficiency improvements, and sustainable resource management.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with internal stakeholders, to communicate climate-related risks and opportunities and advocate for proactive action.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's or advanced degree in environmental science, sustainability, climate science, or a related field.

3-5 Years of relevant experience in the Sustainability Industry, preferably on a corporate staff, with a deep understanding of credible, cost-positive, SBTi-aligned Net Zero strategies

Proven experience in environmental management, climate change mitigation, or sustainability, preferably within a corporate setting.

Strong understanding of climate science, greenhouse gas accounting methodologies, and climate-related regulations and standards.

Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data to inform decision-making.

Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and inspire action.

Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results.

Excellent oral and written communication in English, and excellent attention to detail. Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, and lease management solutions.

High degree of initiative in managing multiple priorities simultaneously as well as being pro-active in a detail-oriented work environment utilizing sound judgment, administrative abilities, and decision-making skills

Ability to partner with internal clients and effectively communicate ESG concepts and initiatives, and help articulate strategies designed to meet company commitments to address climate change and its impact on the company
