Job Summary:
This position serves as the primary contact for SupplyCore customers for the Korea contact. The CSR is responsible for managing and documenting all customer communications and providing daily support to assigned customers through various means of communication. CSR(s) are responsible for traveling to their assigned customer locations regularly, conducting site surveys, and expanding company sales. CSR(s) pro-actively monitor customer accounts for potential growth and/or problematic areas using the appropriate tools available while also keeping management apprised of any customer issues. This position partners with the assigned Sourcing Expert(s) to ensure smooth processing of customer orders from quotation through product delivery and any returns or exchanges as necessary
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:
- Identify customer requirements and align them with appropriate SupplyCore services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for daily communication, issue resolution, and service requests across assigned customer locations.
- Review and resolve system holds, errors, and data integrity issues by correcting data, canceling lines, or releasing holds as appropriate.
- Provide required documentation and reports for service and large orders to the contracting officer, including DD250 sign-offs.
- Act as a subject matter expert on assigned contracts, educating customers on contract rules, restrictions, and SupplyCore capabilities while coordinating with Contract Managers or contracting officers as needed.
- Identify and implement workflow and system improvements, promote ordering systems, and onboard new users/customers.
- Manage order completion tasks, including securing PODs, releasing hold codes, and resolving RMAs, credits, and trouble tickets.
- Handle accounts receivable/payable issues and partner with Quality to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Monitor customer performance trends (sales, margins, deficiencies) and proactively address issues while driving revenue growth through relationship building and expanded engagement.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits, supplier coordination, translation support, and ongoing knowledge development of U.S. Military and Government operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer service position
- 2+ years of customer support experience supporting government or military customers preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Ability to translate English to Korean and vice-versa.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to engage in and exchange communication with others in all situations.
- Highly meticulous and organized to execute multiple projects at once, adhering to deadlines.
- Must be able to travel to and from customer and vendor locations regularly and occasionally without advanced notice.
- Must be able to pass required background check for customer base access.
- PC proficiency including Microsoft Office software products.
