Qualifications 

 

Education 

  • Bachelors (4 year) degree in a relevant field (business, engineering, MIS, etc.)  
  • Masters or MBA, desirable but not required 

 

 Work Experience 

  • 8-12years as aProgram Directororclient-facing Consultant at the Manager or Sr. Manager level   

 

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Proven track record of successful piloting new offerings and capabilities on complex client programs  
  • Passion for innovation and incubation  
  • Corporate leadership backgroundand varied experience across different verticals. 
  • LeaderwithExecutive presence 
  • Curiosity, a can-do attitude and the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment  
  • Familiar with theSoftware Development lifecycle and an understanding of thesupport components,integrationsand various applications 
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and ability to track multiple project deliverables with minimal direction  
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills  
  • Ability to make decisions and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities; i.e. Managing to fixed scope and date scenarios

Working conditions (if needed) 

  • Travel as needed to customer sites up to30%.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $155,000 to $190,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Position Overview 

World Wide Technology's Automation Practice is seeking a Client Solutions Director to play a vital role in the incubation and evolution of new automation capabilities within strategic programs for our clients.This personwillfocus ongrowthofnew automation offerings throughleadingsuccessfulclientengagements.Inadditionincubation of new capabilities, this candidate will coordinate with our clients,internal development teams,engineers, technologists, project managers,engagement managers,delivery leads, business analysts and end-users to strategize and execute best-in-class solutions for our clients. A successful candidate will ensure our teamsdeliver customer first serviceof compelling new automation offerings, helpidentifyareas ofrefinement of capabilitiesand deliver successfuloutcomes. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Initial incubation, execution and adoption of new capabilities on client engagements 

  • Successfully lead client automation engagements leveraging newly developed high-impact capabilities   
  • Bring together project delivery resources and internal development teams for successful adoption and refinement of capabilities  
  • Refine delivery frameworks for newly created offerings that drive scale, consistency and successful client outcomes  

 

Partner with internal delivery organization(s) to deliver successful engagements that create value for both the clients and WWT, with meaningful business outcomes 

  • Drive client automation engagements involving newly developed capabilities across WWT teams that may have a stake in the project  
  • Partner withWWTSC&Ecounterpartsto bring the most value in helping to achieve customer goals 
  • Coordinate with a geographically dispersed work force.  
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Delivery Leads, Engagement Managers, External Consultants, VendorsandotherWWTSMEson reporting, delivery updates etc. 

 

Drive new offering growth and on-going customer satisfaction 

  • Support strategic clients globally where WWT can focus on adding valueand trust to our most valuable clients 
  • Actively engaged in growth opportunities within client engagements and target verticals  
  • Advise client, delivery team and internal development teams in meeting objectives and overcoming challengestied to projects 

 

Lead and coach WWT teams to ensure key client deliverables are exceeding client expectations and delivery commitments 

  • Work with integrated lead team members to effectively communicate design, architecture, data analysis, roadmap recommendationsto customers. 
  • Collaborate across various internal WWT teams from concept development and successful client outcomes  

 

Identify and pursue opportunities that create additional value for clients and WWT 

  • Utilize industry bestpractices whilefully understanding the client goals while educating around industry challenges 
  • Proactively providing solutions and ideas  
  • Create thought leadership collateral or deliver key presentations for internal or external audiences  

 

Partner with sales and delivery teams to identify robust offerings that can scale both vertically and horizontally 

  • Bring forward industry leadershipandbest practice solutions 
  • Help create re-usable customer facing collateral  

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, or MIS
  • 8–12 years of experience as a Program Director or client-facing Consultant at the Manager or Senior Manager level
  • Experience piloting new offerings and capabilities on complex client programs
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, support components, integrations, and applications
