Essential Functions
- Lead strategic and complex consultative services sales with target financial services accounts in your coverage area to achieve services sales goals set for your account portfolio
- Spearhead innovative approaches to increase services revenue and profitability within designated service portfolios, all while sustaining the existing book of work
- With a broader industry perspective, challenge, advise, and collaborate with Client Managers/Client Executives leading the overall sales relationship for your account portfolio to develop a Services Sales strategy and joint pursuit plan
- Leverage an external client relationship network, provide support to existing ones, and establish new connections with key clients to identify new service opportunities and grow existing ones
- Conduct thorough due diligence to generate and effectively qualify services opportunity leads in partnership with the Account team
- For opportunities in pursuit, develop:
o Practice/Discipline Overview Packs
o Thought leadership (white papers, articles)
o Business Value Add documentation
o Material for workshops (including facilitation)
- For qualified opportunities, develop:
o Statements of Work (Microsoft Word) covering scope, deliverables
o Change Orders (Microsoft Word) change scope, cost, resourcing, dates of current work)
o Commercials/Pricing Models (Microsoft Excel) both basic and complex
o Financial incentives for customers
- Effectively coordinate, collaborate with, and oversee multiple cross-functional teams concurrently:
o Service Delivery Organisation (scope, deliverables etc)
o Internal and External partner teams (resourcing, external partner services)
o Other Pre-Sales teams (internal IT practices
o Account Team (commercials, client communications)
- Stay abreast of ongoing projects' status and profitability and make recommendations for improvement
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regularly and feedback to the wider team on suggested target areas
- Be the single point of contact for all services sales pursuit activities in assigned services portfolio(s)
- Work with OEM services teams to increase their awareness of the WWT's services portfolio offerings within the assigned services portfolio(s)
- Establish new connections and foster existing relationships with partners and vendors relevant to the assigned services portfolio to assist in increasing revenue opportunities
- Drive and encourage the expansion of management consulting practices throughout the broader WWT team, strategically integrating them with our established WWT strengths
- Champion and integrate the Core Values and Corporate Goals of World Wide Technology into daily activities, setting a leading example for junior team members
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
