We're looking for a consultative services seller who brings genuine curiosity about our clients' businesses and a passion for helping them navigate some of their most important technology decisions. You'll build deep, lasting relationships with enterprise customers, taking the time to understand where they want their business to go, and help translate that vision into a services and infrastructure solution that gets them there, spanning areas like networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and data center.
This is a relationship-driven, highly collaborative role that rewards intellectual curiosity as much as sales discipline. You'll help clients think through complex decisions, build the financial case for change, and guide a solution from early conversation through to a signed, multi-year agreement, partnering closely with our architects, consultants, and delivery teams
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with enterprise clients, understanding their business priorities and helping shape a services roadmap that supports them
- Lead the response to complex RFPs and competitive bids, working with internal teams to develop a compelling, well-supported proposal
- Develop TCO and ROI models and value propositions that help clients understand the business impact of a proposed solution
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and delivery leaders to ensure proposed solutions are both technically sound and operationally deliverable
- Structure commercial terms: pricing, contract length, and delivery models such as fixed-price, time & materials, or outcome-based
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts alongside new client relationships
Customer and Market Leadership
Success in this role depends on being a trusted advisor to the clients you serve. You'll regularly engage with senior stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, and other technology and business executives, as a thought partner on their transformation journey, not simply as a vendor responding to a request.
You'll also serve as an internal connector, bringing together sales, technical, consulting, and delivery expertise around each opportunity, coordinating across teams without formal authority over them.
We also expect you to bring a point of view to the market: developing thought leadership on industry topics relevant to your clients, staying ahead of emerging trends across networking, security, and cloud, and presenting that perspective confidently to C-level executives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-8 years in services sales and solution selling, shaping outcomes for clients rather than moving product or hardware
- Several years as a consultative services seller within technology services, systems integration, or strategy consulting
- A track record of contributing to and closing large, complex enterprise deals
- Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure (networking, cybersecurity, cloud, data center) to engage credibly with technical teams
- Ability to build compelling TCO and ROI analyses that hold up under executive scrutiny
- Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to build client-ready, executive-level proposals largely on your own
- Ability to write a clear scope of work document for cross-architecture services engagements
- Credibility and presence with senior executives, both in presentations and in adding value to them over time
- Strong collaboration skills, working across sales, delivery, and technical teams
- From a strategy consulting background: readiness to move from advisory into a client-facing sales and commercial role
Skills Required
- Proven experience leading consultative services sales and developing services sales strategies
- Expertise in one or more domains: IT Networking, Cloud, Infrastructure Automation, DevOps, Agile App Development, or Cyber-security
- Ability to create Statements of Work, Change Orders, and complex pricing models (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to coordinate and oversee multiple cross-functional teams (service delivery, partners, pre-sales, account teams)
- Strong executive-level networking and relationship-building skills with C-suite and decision-makers
- Experience producing thought leadership, practice overviews, workshop materials, and business value documentation
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and account planning skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, technical environment and mentor junior team members
