Position Summary
The Client Services Coordinator I acts as the primary contact for inputting client orders into the company database to be used by production. The essential duties outlined below may vary based on location or brand.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing
- Accurately inputting client orders, including material types, quantities, exposures, services, and client information, into the company's database.
- Processing incoming orders, handed off from Client Services Representative, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
- Checking product availability, and allocating of Linetec Managed Inventory when applicable, ensuring orders can be completed promptly.
- Verifying pricing and applying any applicable discounts to orders.
- Maintaining detailed and organized records of all orders and related transactions.
- Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the order processing cycle.
Communication
- Communicating with internal teams (Client Services Representatives, Receiving, and Scheduling) to resolve order-related issues.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as production, Scheduling, and receiving to ensure smooth order processing.
Experience & Skills
Education:
- High School Diploma, required.
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferred.
- Proficient with order entry processes and software, preferred
Required Skills:
- Fast, accurate data entry skills.
- Time management, organization, and planning.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong math skills are required for price reconciliation and calculating exposures.
- Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Regular/dependable attendance.
- Flexibility of work hours, including overtime.
Work Environment/Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel related to other sites /corporate.
- Extended periods of office work on a computer and in team meetings.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in an office environment, with occasional trips to manufacturing.
- Lift up to 10 lbs.
