Client Relationship Manager (Funds Administration)
Location : Auckland, Wellington
Description
The role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a high standard of service and client satisfaction. The Client Relationship Manager supports the Head of CRM, Fund Administration, and works closely with fellow Client Relationship Managers, the wider Client Relationship Management team, and other internal teams to deliver effective client outcomes.

Support business development activities and contribute to the achievement of revenue growth objectives within existing client relationships.
Assist with the management of client contractual and commercial arrangements, including identifying, recommending, and implementing updates to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as required.
Develop, maintain, and strengthen strategic relationships with key client stakeholders, including C-suite executives, board members, and senior decision-makers.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by developing a deep understanding of their business objectives, challenges, and strategic priorities.
Prepare agendas for client meetings, facilitate and lead client discussions, and ensure timely follow-up of actions and commitments.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients on operational matters, service issues, and escalations, coordinating effective resolution across internal teams.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with operational and support teams across the New Zealand business to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to coordinate responses to client enquiries and proactively address client concerns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client account, contact, activity, and opportunity information within Salesforce, including the effective use of task and relationship management tools.
Support client, fund, and service onboarding activities, working closely with the Implementation team to ensure a seamless transition and delivery experience.
Collaborate with other Client Relationship Managers and the Sales team to identify growth opportunities, support retention initiatives, and strengthen client relationships.
Advocate for clients internally, ensuring their strategic priorities, service requirements, and expectations are understood and appropriately supported across the organisation.
Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and overall client experience.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics relevant to clients and their businesses.
Prepare and deliver client reporting, presentations, and business reviews for senior stakeholders.
Participate in projects, strategic initiatives, and other duties as required to support business objectives and continuous improvement activities.
Skills Required:
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a client relationship management, account management, business development, or client service role.
Experience within the financial services industry, funds management, investment administration, banking, custody, or a similar professional services environment.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, including senior executives and decision-makers.
Proven ability to identify and support business growth opportunities within existing client relationships.
Experience managing client issues, service delivery matters, and stakeholder expectations in a professional and proactive manner.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand client objectives and align solutions accordingly.
Proficiency in Salesforce or a similar customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders.
