They may supervise account work done by more junior staffs. They will learn Edelman’s various Communications Marketing processes/approaches, including public engagement, message workshops, master narrative assignments, brand engagement, social media campaigns and stakeholder mapping exercises and support account teams in the execution of these processes for clients.ResponsibilitiesPublic Relations / Communications responsibilitiesDemonstrates a strong understanding of integrated Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations principles and strategies

- At least one year of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media or publishing
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university
- Intricate level of understanding of the account(s), the clients’ businesses, products, markets, personnel, outside influencers, opposition, etc.
- Understand basic public relations tools and how they are used to achieve client goals
- Good research, writing and editing skills and the ability to develop media contacts/relationships
- Fundamental understanding of media outreach assignments and the ability to apply experience and initiative in developing appropriate traditional and online media strategies.
