We are looking for a Client Executive to join our Australia team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

WWT is seeking an experienced Client Executive to grow our presence across New South Wales. This role will focus on building trusted relationships with customers across the state, with a blend of existing accounts and a desire to build new enterprise customers.

The Account Executive will own the full account lifecycle: protecting and expanding existing customer relationships while identifying, developing and closing new-logo opportunities. You will connect customer priorities to WWT's broad portfolio of technology solutions, services and partner capabilities, working closely with technical specialists, architects, engineers, delivery teams and executives to create measurable business value

This is a consultative, territory-based sales role for someone who can operate credibly with operational leaders, technology stakeholders and executives, and who is motivated by both customer outcomes and sustainable revenue growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Account growth and customer acquisition

  • Develop and execute account and territory plans for priority large enterprise customers across New South Wales.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers by strengthening relationships, improving account coverage and identifying opportunities for expansion, cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Build and maintain a qualified acquisition pipeline through targeted prospecting, customer insight, industry engagement, partner relationships and executive networks.
  • Identify decision-makers, influencers and buying groups across customer organisations, and create effective engagement strategies at operational, technical and executive levels.
  • Lead opportunities from discovery and qualification through business case development, proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, activity, forecast and account information in WWT's CRM and sales processes.

Customer and executive engagement

  • Establish trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, digital and transformation leaders, technology executives, procurement stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Understand customer strategies, operational pressures, capital programmes and transformation priorities, translating them into relevant WWT opportunities.
  • Lead customer meetings, workshops, executive briefings, presentations and account planning sessions.
  • Position WWT as a strategic technology partner rather than a product or transactional supplier.
  • Act as the primary commercial point of contact, coordinating the right WWT resources to respond to customer needs and remove barriers to progress.

Solution development and commercial execution

  • Collaborate with WWT engineers, architects, consultants, delivery leaders and subject-matter experts to shape practical, outcome-led solutions.
  • Translate complex technology capabilities into clear business value, including resilience, operational efficiency, cyber security, cloud adoption, data and AI, infrastructure modernisation and digital transformation.
  • Develop and present compelling business cases that articulate value, investment rationale, risk, timing and expected outcomes.
  • Use WWT and partner capabilities to build differentiated solutions aligned to customer requirements and competitive conditions.
  • Coordinate partner engagement, teaming and commercial strategy where partners strengthen the customer outcome or opportunity position.
  • Negotiate effectively and close profitable, sustainable business while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.

Internal leadership and collaboration

  • Orchestrate virtual teams across sales, solutions, engineering, professional services, managed services, marketing, finance and leadership.
  • Provide market and customer insight to help WWT prioritise investments, campaigns, solutions and partner activity in New South Wales.
  • Ensure a disciplined handover from sales to solutioning and delivery, maintaining alignment on scope, outcomes, commercials and customer expectations.
  • Represent WWT with professionalism, integrity, humility and a strong customer-first mindset.

  • Experience developing account plans, territory strategies, qualified pipelines, proposals and customer business cases.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales, revenue or gross-profit targets.
