HeadQuarters is a global start-up that partners with US cannabis companies to provide support in finance, sales operations, and logistics. We are currently seeking a Client Engagement Manager to join our growing team.
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Client Engagement Manager to cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with our clients. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction by deeply understanding their needs, effectively communicating our value proposition, and proactively addressing any concerns. Your ability to actively listen and build rapport will be crucial to your success. You will also be responsible for managing a team of client engagement specialists, fostering their growth and development.
Build Strong Client Relationships:
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs, business objectives, and challenges through active listening and effective questioning.
- Build rapport and establish trust with key client stakeholders at all levels.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Proactively identify and address potential client issues or concerns.
Drive Client Value:
- Clearly articulate our value proposition and demonstrate how our solutions address client needs.
- Collaborate internally with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, engineering, support) to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Monitor client engagement and satisfaction, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Develop and execute account plans to maximize client value and retention.
People Management:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of client engagement specialists.
- Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Identify training and development needs for team members.
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of client engagement processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (e.g., 3+ years) in a client-facing role, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong active listening and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing and developing a team.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with looking at people's output data.
