WANTED: A Salesperson With a Servant's Heart Who Picks Up the Phone Before Anyone Tells Them To
Client Account Manager, Wealth Without Wall Street
Most salespeople fall into one of two camps.
The first camp can close, but clients feel like a number the minute the ink dries.
The second camp is lovely to talk to, but they won't ask for the business, and they let the phone sit there like it bites.
We don't want either one. We want the rare person in the middle: someone who serves first, sells because they care, and dials without a second thought.
Here's why. Over the years, thousands of business owners, investors and families have trusted Wealth Without Wall Street to help them build wealth outside the stock market. We do it with Infinite Banking (whole life insurance built for cash flow) and passive income education.
Our strategists are very good at designing and placing policies. But once a policy is in force, too many of those clients go a long time without hearing from us. That's money left on the table. Worse, it's people left on their own.
That's where you come in.
The job, in plain English: You'll own a book of existing clients and past prospects. Your job is to call them, serve them, and grow the relationship into new business.
You'll:
- Pick up the phone. A lot. Your day revolves around real conversations, not emails you hope get answered
- Re-engage clients who haven't heard from us in a while, and past prospects who didn't finish the process
- Run policy reviews, answer questions about policy loans and PUAs, and quarterback service so every client feels looked after. Our ops team handles the paperwork
- Uncover opportunities (new capital, a business sale, a growing family) and ask for the next step. Then book the client with one of our IBC strategists
- Ask every happy client for referrals, and follow up until they turn into conversations
- Introduce clients to our Passive Income Lab when it fits
- Spot clients drifting away and get on the phone before they leave
- Log every call and next step in HubSpot, and own your weekly numbers: contacts, opportunities, referrals, cases
Who should NOT apply: Don't apply if you'd rather send a text than make a call. Skip this if asking for a referral makes you squirm. And if you see clients as commissions with names attached, this isn't your seat. Our clients can tell, and so can we.
Requirements
Who you are:
- A servant first. You genuinely want your clients to win, and it shows in how you listen
- Phone-fearless. You'd rather have 50 real conversations than send 500 emails
- Not afraid to ask. You ask for the meeting, the next step and the referral, because you believe in what you're offering
- Relentless on follow-up. Nobody has to remind you, and nothing falls through the cracks
- Motivated by results. You like knowing your numbers and you like beating them
What you bring:
- 2+ years in sales, account management or client relationships, ideally in insurance, financial services or wealth management
- A track record of hitting targets while keeping clients happy (bring examples)
- Comfortable on phone and video calls all day
- CRM discipline (HubSpot a plus)
- Active life insurance license, or willingness to get licensed within 60 days
- Understanding of whole life insurance or Infinite Banking is a big plus. If you don't have it, we'll teach you
How to apply (read carefully, because this is the first test):
You need to follow the application form below to a T, miss something you are not going to be considered. Attention to detail in this role is super imporant.
Along with your résumé, we are going to ask for a short video talking about yourself, your sales background, your client services background and about a time you served a client so well that it turned into more business or a referral. Tell us what you did and what came of it.
Bonus points in your video if you start it out with the words "Serve First" in the first line so we know you read this whole thing.
Finalists will do a short Culture Index survey and a live role-play call. If phone calls make you nervous, this is where we'll find out.
Benefits
- $40,000 - $50,000 base salary, so you have stability while you build
- Uncapped commission on every new case and referral you generate [8% of each case you originate, plus referral/Lab bonus]
- Warm conversations, not cold strangers. Every name in your book already knows who we are. Some already bought, and some almost did
- Our strategists handle the technical close, so you can focus on the relationship and the ask
- Paid licensing [if applicable] and full training on Infinite Banking, our service process and HubSpot
- A team that's growing fast, with a mission worth selling: helping families build wealth outside Wall Street
- Remote work
Skills Required
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or client relationships
- Experience hitting sales targets while maintaining client satisfaction
- Comfortable conducting phone and video calls throughout the day
- CRM discipline; HubSpot experience is a plus
- Active life insurance license or willingness to obtain one within 60 days
- Understanding of whole life insurance or Infinite Banking
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or wealth management
- Ability to submit a short application video describing sales and client service experience
- Ability to complete a Culture Index survey and live role-play call
What We Do
Wealth Without Wall Street is an online community that seeks to re-educate business owners & families how money truly works. Wall Street is not just a street in NY, NY that puts American’s money at risk but it is also a commonly taught mindset. The Wall Street mindset separates both families & business owners from their money while others get to use it for their advantage. Our goal is to teach these same people a better way to grow wealth that is without Wall Street & in their control. The secret to doing this is having your money work for you, not someone else. You can achieve this through passive income sources without Wall Street. We educate American business owners & families how to achieve financial freedom through blogs, downloadable resources & our podcast, The Wealth Without Wall Street Podcast.
