The Role & What You Will Be Doing

The Quality Assurance Executive I will be responsible for assisting with the co-ordination of all elements of the Quality System assigned to the Quality Assurance Department.

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Cleanroom Supervisor role will make an impact:

  • Supervising all filling/ jet printing activities and ensure that all activities are performed to GMP standard.

  • Lead and coach a team of operators to meet production schedules, quality standards, and to resolve production issues.

  • Review manufacturing documentation after batch completion and follow up with relevant personnel to ensure that documentation is complete. Complete all batch related report e.g. deviation and incident reports as required by quality.

  • Responsible to ensure annual objectives are set and performance reviews are completed with relevant staff.

  • Ensure that classified areas and its environs are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.

  • Ensure all training activities are completed within allocated timelines

  • Audit internal systems and procedures for compliance to GMP and EH&S. Look for opportunities for continued improvement..

  • Tracking and maintaining stock levels of cleanroom consumables

  • Perform other duties as assigned, this includes supporting the Packaging Dept. in Casla when required.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Minimum of a Diploma (or equivalent) in a life science and 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably pharmaceutical or Medical Device). Previous experience in similar supervisory role would be a distinct advantage

  • Position functions autonomously. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to consider all the facts and make good sound decisions.

  • Experience in training operators.

  • Experience in the DMAIC methods of problem solving. 5 Whys, ADKOM, fishbone etc.

  • Knowledge of Oracle or other such system.

  • Experience in introducing and assistance with qualification of systems under change control

  • Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents, to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence and to work with groups of people such as other departments and communicate known concepts. 

  • Ability to present to a group of departments
