With the claim’s internship, you will work with a mentor to learn what claims are and how they play a vital role in the company’s success, as well as how claims are handled. What You’ll Do
Our Claims internship offers opportunities to:
- Gain hands-on insight into claims negotiations and settlement processes to help reach fair resolutions for customers.
- Stand by customers during stressful times, guiding them through the claims process with genuine care and understanding.
- Review policy details to accurately verify coverage and policy limits for current customers.
- Dive into the details of a loss by gathering facts and reviewing documentation to understand what happened.
- Maintain clear, thorough records of all investigations, communications, and steps taken throughout the claims process.
What it Takes
To be considered for this position, the following criteria is necessary:
- Pursuing an undergraduate or associate degree in Business, Insurance, Communication, and English or a related field
- Obtain a minimum in-major GPA of 3.00
- Expected graduation of May 2028
- Obtain required licensing as needed
- Sentry does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience
