Job Description

As a Claims Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in our Group Life Claims team, guiding customers through life insurance claims with care, expertise, and efficiency.

  • Independently manage a portfolio of life insurance claims from start to finish
  • Assess, analyse, and process claims payments
  • Engage with medical and legal specialists, rehabilitation consultants, and treating doctors to ensure timely outcomes
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience, following TAL’s values and claims policies
  • Participate in case conferences and peer case discussions, ensuring best practice claims management

Qualifications

  • Diverse backgrounds welcome – Allied health, psychology, finance, legal, insurance, and claims experience
  • Customer-focused mindset – Strong communication, empathy, and decision-making skills
  • Passion for guiding recovery – Experience in rehabilitation, return-to-work programs, or crisis management
  • Attention to detail – Ability to navigate complex processes with precision
  • Curious and growth-focused – A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
