1. Regulatory Compliance and internal control Oversight
- Ensure adherence to insurance local regulations, Chubb policies and other governing bodies.
- Monitor compliance with laws such as anti-money laundering (AML), data privacy and protection regulations, anti-bribery and corruption, FATCA.
- Collaborate and work with and assist Line 1 to implement controls, procedures and processes to comply with external and internal compliance obligations, including advising on how best to achieve compliance and ensuring that controls are effective and efficient in both design and operation.
2. Policy & Program Development
- Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
- Ensure policies are communicated effectively and integrated into daily operations.
- Oversee training programs to promote awareness of compliance requirements.
3. Monitoring & Enforcement
- Conduct risk and control assessments and compliance reviews across business departments.
- Investigate potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement systems for reporting and tracking compliance issues.
4. Regulatory & Legal Oversight
- Stay current with laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the organization.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and external auditors on compliance matters.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies.
