The Director of Corporate Compliance and Internal Control ensures regulatory compliance, develops policies, monitors risks, and fosters an ethical culture within the organization.

1. Regulatory Compliance and internal control Oversight

  • Ensure adherence to insurance local regulations, Chubb policies and other governing bodies.
  • Monitor compliance with laws such as anti-money laundering (AML), data privacy and protection regulations, anti-bribery and corruption, FATCA. 
  • Collaborate and work with and assist Line 1 to implement controls, procedures and processes to comply with external and internal compliance obligations, including advising on how best to achieve compliance and ensuring that controls are effective and efficient in both design and operation.

  • Ensure policies are communicated effectively and integrated into daily operations.

3. Monitoring & Enforcement

  • Conduct risk and control assessments and compliance reviews across business departments.
  • Investigate potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Implement systems for reporting and tracking compliance issues.

 

4. Regulatory & Legal Oversight

  • Stay current with laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the organization.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and external auditors on compliance matters.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies.

5. Culture & Communication

  • Promote a strong ethical culture throughout the organization.
  • Provide guidance to employees and management on internal control and compliance-related matters.
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen transparency and accountability.
