Summary Generated by Built In

We are looking for a Chief of Staff who can operate as the right hand to the founders and help keep the business moving fast without things falling through the cracks.

This is not a traditional corporate role with a narrow lane and a perfectly clean job description. Some days you may be helping negotiate a vendor agreement, other days handling an employee issue, organizing projects, fixing operational problems, coordinating office logistics, managing priorities for leadership, or jumping into something completely unexpected because that is what growing businesses look like.

We need someone highly organized, proactive, detail oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast moving environment where priorities can shift quickly. This role is for someone who enjoys solving problems, creating structure, and making life easier for leadership while helping the business operate more efficiently overall.

The right person will be able to balance professionalism, urgency, communication, confidentiality, and common sense. You need to be someone who can walk into chaos, organize it, and move things forward without needing constant direction.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic and operational partner to the founders
  • Help manage and execute cross functional projects across the business
  • Assist with HR related functions including onboarding, employee relations, hiring coordination, policy administration, and organizational support
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, pricing negotiations, renewals, and service agreements
  • Support office operations, organization, and administrative needs
  • Help prioritize leadership initiatives and keep projects on track
  • Create structure, follow up, and accountability across teams and initiatives
  • Assist with internal communication, scheduling, meeting coordination, and operational planning
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Jump into operational issues and special projects as they arise
  • Help improve systems, workflows, and overall business organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of professional work experience in operations, HR, administration, project management, executive support, or related functions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • High level communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong technology literacy including comfort with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, project management systems, communication tools, and learning new platforms quickly
  • Prior project management or cross functional coordination experience required
  • Ability to operate independently while maintaining strong follow through
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable working in fast paced entrepreneurial environments where priorities can change quickly
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to think proactively instead of reactively
