About the Role
As the Chief of Staff, you will help define and execute strategic priorities and work across the entire team to drive results. This role will serve as an extension of our executive team and work with every department to ensure company-level goals are being achieved as well as running special projects. The Chief of Staff will contribute to the long-term success of the company by operating at the ground level in terms of understanding the business and its overall execution by bringing a well-rounded mix of strategic thinking and tactical execution to the role. We expect the Chief of Staff role to lean heavily into strategic finance, helping facilitate and execute large partnership deals, M&A, and investor relations.
Responsibilities
- Drive alignment within the leadership team around strategy, executing on clear goals, and monitoring progress along the way
- Facilitate and execute strategic partnerships, M&A, and investor relations
- The Chief of Staff is responsible for leading strategic planning, and will need to build a thorough understanding of product, tech, and strategic needs of the company
- The Chief of staff oversees projects and helps ensure that day-to-day operations align with the company's goals
- Serve as a sounding board for the executive team
Qualifications
- 3-6+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or similar
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen with the highest attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to drive projects from concept to completion
- Comfort being a "jack of all trades" and a super-connector
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus
- Experience working with companies in the insurance industry or similar “balance sheet” industries is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- MBA is a plus
Location
- In person-hybrid preferred; Denver HQ, Madison, WI satellite office, will consider other locations for exceptional candidates
$145,000-$205,000 per year
