Job Summary:

Independence American Insurance Company is seeking a Chief of Staff who will report to the President of IAIC and support senior management. The role is responsible for strategic planning, project management, prioritization, and administration.

Job Location: Hybrid - Phoenix, Arizona Metro Area

Pay Range: $135,000 to $150,000, plus bonus

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans.

  • Supports President in preparing for Board meetings and strategic reviews.

  • Analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and the Board

  • Organize and manage strategic projects from inception to completion.

  • Performs advanced secretarial, clerical, and administrative duties.

  • Assignments generally involve work of a confidential nature and requires knowledge of the practices and procedures of the function, company products, policies, and programs.

  • Assembles and analyzes information, prepares reports, manuals, agendas, correspondence, and memorandums.

  • Prepares materials in final form from rough and involved drafts which may utilize frequent use of technical terminology and may combine materials from several sources.

  • Plans layout of complex reports and statistical tables.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a strategic planning or business development role.

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in strategic planning software and MS Office Suite
