Serving as a trusted advisor and strategic growth partner to the CEO, the Chief of Staff acts as the central point of coordination for the firm's most consequential priorities. You will own alignment across the executive leadership team, instill accountability at every level, and convert strategic intent into disciplined execution.

In this role, you will enable the CEO to lead with clarity and focus while managing competing demands, tracking progress on mission-critical initiatives, orchestrating communication across the organization, and ensuring that decisions translate into measurable outcomes.

Through disciplined execution and enterprise-wide alignment, the Chief of Staff turns the CEO's vision into organizational reality. As a strategic growth partner to the executive team, this individual creates alignment, drives accountability, and sustains momentum on the priorities that matter most, freeing the CEO to focus on the highest-value opportunities for growth and innovation.

The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized, intellectually agile leader who moves fluidly between boardroom strategy and on-the-ground execution. Operating as a natural extension of the CEO, this individual will be instrumental in advancing operational rigor, organizational cohesion, and sustained business growth.

As a premier consulting and technology firm, alliant is focused on providing solutions to help businesses transform and thrive, while serving as their ongoing growth partner.

  • Drive execution of enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring tight alignment with corporate strategy and long-term growth objectives.

  • Partner with the CEO to shape and pressure-test strategic plans, competitive positioning, and new market opportunities.

  • Track priorities, deliverables, and action items across the executive team, holding leaders accountable to commitments and timelines.

  • Coordinate and facilitate executive leadership meetings, offsites, and strategic planning sessions while driving rigorous discussion, and documenting decisions.

  • Establish and refine the processes, metrics, and governance mechanisms that keep the organization operating at a high standard of discipline.

  • Partner with leaders across the business to clear obstacles, resolve cross-functional tension, and accelerate decision-making.

  • Serve as a connective force between the CEO, executive team, employees, clients, and external stakeholders (including Strategic Advisory Board members), ensuring information flows efficiently in both directions.

  • Manage discrete high-stakes projects on the CEO's behalf, from special initiatives to board-level deliverables.

  • Working closely with the CEO, develop executive presentations, board materials, and organizational communications.

  • Act as a credible, senior-level presence in rooms where the CEO cannot be, representing their perspective with judgment and discretion.

  • Maintain a pulse on organizational sentiment and emerging risks, surfacing issues to the CEO early and with clear recommendations.

  • Anticipate organizational and market challenges before they surface, bringing forward solutions rather than problems.

  • Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage, positioning the CEO to act decisively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field required; MBA or other advanced degree (JD, MPP) preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience building and interpreting financial models, P&L statements, and board-level reporting.

  • A track record of managing ambiguous, high-stakes initiatives to completion, often without formal authority.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with direct experience producing board-level materials and investor communications.

  • Unimpeachable discretion in handling confidential financial, strategic, and organizational information.
