The Chief of Staff is a strategic account operations and governance support role within Cushman & Wakefield's Global Occupier Services team. The position acts as the operational backbone for the account, ensuring the account is well-organized, adequately resourced, compliant, and operating effectively across global property portfolio. The role reports directly to the Relationship/Account Manager and is a key member of the Australian Management Support Team (AMST).Job Description
About the role:
- Support the Relationship/Account Manager in managing account operations, governance, and delivery.
- Coordinate meetings, action registers, governance forums, and follow-up activities.
- Prepare reports, governance materials, and performance updates for stakeholders.
- Coordinate workforce planning, including vacancies, backfills, succession planning, and resource readiness.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support recruitment activities.
- Manage onboarding readiness, including inductions, system access, training, and orientation.
- Coordinate security clearance applications and compliance tracking.
- Support employee mobilization and ensure alignment with account, security, and contractual requirements.
- Maintain account documentation, records, action logs, and controlled documents.
- Develop and maintain account playbooks, process documentation, and management plans.
- Coordinate stakeholder communications, briefings, and follow-up actions across internal and external teams.
- Identify, track, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Manage travel, visa, and related documentation requirements for personnel supporting the contract.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience supporting complex operations, account management, PMO, governance, or contract administration functions.
- Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and operational support.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Experience maintaining reports, action registers, documentation, and governance processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience in government, defense, or other highly regulated environments is highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain NV2 Security Clearance.
