ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Chief of Staff (Commercial & BD), you will serve as the CEO’s strategic "force multiplier," specifically focused on accelerating our commercial engine. This is not an administrative role; it is an entrepreneurial, high-stakes leadership position designed for a future executive. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and boots-on-the-ground execution, driving revenue-generating initiatives and securing our position in the energy and data center markets.
- Commercial Strategy & Growth: Design and execute go-to-market initiatives to penetrate the data center and energy infrastructure sectors. You will identify high-value opportunities and build the playbooks to capture them.
- Strategic Deal Support: Partner with the CEO to lead high-stakes negotiations and business development meetings. You will be responsible for the "follow-through"—ensuring complex deals move from initial handshake to executed contract.
- Market Intelligence: Build a world-class understanding of power markets, GPU cloud dynamics, and data center real estate. You will translate these trends into actionable insights that dictate our commercial roadmap.
- Executive Representation: Serve as a high-EQ representative of the CEO in meetings with investors, hyperscalers, and energy providers. You will act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders when the CEO is unavailable.
- Cross-Functional Commercial Alignment: Break down silos between Engineering, Finance, and Operations to ensure our technical capabilities align with our commercial promises.
- Board & Investor Readiness: Lead the creation of high-impact materials for Board meetings and fundraising rounds, distilling complex commercial progress into clear, quantitative narratives.
- Special Projects: Take end-to-end ownership of "unstructured" problems—from scouting new site locations to structuring creative financing models for energy assets.
ABOUT YOU
This role is for a "Swiss Army Knife" professional who possesses a rare blend of analytical rigor and commercial instinct. You are likely coming from a high-pressure environment where you've been tested.
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of Experience: Ideally from top-tier strategy consulting (MBB), Investment Banking, Private Equity, or a "Head of Ops/Growth" role at a Series A-C tech startup.
- Industry Passion: You are obsessed with the physical layer of AI—power grids, liquid cooling, and the shift toward decentralized high-performance computing.
- Quantitative Powerhouse: You can build a complex financial model in Excel one hour and write a compelling investment memo the next.
- The "Run Through Walls" Mentality: You don't wait for permission. You identify a bottleneck and solve it, whether that means managing a legal review or diving into technical specs.
