Role Summary:
We are seeking a National Sales Leader who actively manages their own book of business while leading by example — a true player-coach. This role requires proven expertise in life insurance sales, B2B distribution, and national account management. The ideal candidate excels in driving growth, team development, performance oversight, and executing a unified sales strategy aligned with company sales goals. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to drive revenue, engage prospects, and strengthen advisor relationships across diverse markets.

  • Work in collaboration with the director of marketing to design a resource hub and strategic approach tailored to real-time updates, sales enablement, and advanced market opportunities.

  • Facilitate and host regular meetings to share best practices, tackle challenges, and communicate updates

  • Monitor performance using sales metrics; prospecting, opportunities, pending and paid

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a consistent advanced markets strategy

  • Manage expenses to ensure adherence to budget

  • Deliver ongoing training on advanced insurance concepts, products, and sales strategies

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 15+ years in the life insurance industry

  • Proven success in sales leadership

  • Experience coaching and managing sales teams

Preferred:

  • Life & Health Insurance License

  • Series 6 and 63 licenses

Salary Transparency:

Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $200,000-$250,000 with additional bonus opportunity. A successful candidate in this role has the potential to make between $250,000-$500,000 in total compensation. This compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages: health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits such as vacation, sick, and personal days, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
