This operations-focused executive leads a large, distributed sales organization and marketing function while maintaining an unwavering commitment to ChenMed’s mission of transforming healthcare for seniors. Responsible for developing and executing strategic payor and non-plan relationships to drive membership growth through health plan relationships. Develops great insurance company relationships to jointly drive membership growth. Serves as a key representative of ChenMed’s value proposition to health plans and industry stakeholders, recognizing that exceptional patient care begins with the sales and marketing process.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages and leads a large, geographically distributed sales force and marketing team with exceptional operational excellence and attention to detail.

  • Develops and executes strategic partnerships with non-plan and payors to drive patient growth and market expansion.

  • Oversees integrated marketing strategies that support sales efforts and enhance ChenMed’s brand presence in target markets.

  • Partners closely with health plans to create mutually beneficial arrangements that support ChenMed’s mission of delivering superior patient outcomes while reducing total cost of care.

  • Influences payor agreements and collaborates with the contracting teams.

  • Drives execution of growth strategies with urgent, deadline-focused leadership while maintaining rigorous attention to operational details.

  • Serves as a strategic problem-solver, identifying and resolving complex challenges in payor relationships, sales operations, and marketing initiatives.

  • Represents ChenMed’s transformational healthcare model to health plan executives and industry leaders, building relationships that advance our mission.

  • Ensures the patient care journey begins with exceptional sales and marketing experiences that reflect ChenMed’s values of Love, Accountability, and Passion.

  • Develops and monitors key performance metrics for payor and non-plan partnerships, sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and membership growth.

  • Oversees marketing campaigns, brand messaging, and patient acquisition strategies that align with sales objectives.

  • Collaborates with executive leadership to align growth initiatives with ChenMed’s strategic objectives and operational standards.

  • Stays current on healthcare industry trends and regulatory requirements that impact growth strategies.

  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

  • Proven track record of successfully navigating and leading large, complex sales and marketing teams across multiple markets

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategic frameworks and guide data-driven solutions

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate value propositions to diverse stakeholders

  • Commercial and business acumen with ability to recognize and capitalize on growth opportunities

  • Experience integrating sales and marketing functions to drive unified growth strategies

  • Proficient skill in Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; competent in other systems required for the position, including CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and data analysis tools

  • Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 75% of the time; flexible to work evening, weekends and/or holidays as needed

  • Spoken and written fluency in English

  • This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in sales leadership, marketing management, business development, or partnership management

  • Proven experience successfully managing large, geographically distributed sales and marketing organizations

  • Experience in both B2B and B2C sales, partnership development, marketing strategy, or relationship management preferred

  • Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required

  • Demonstrated success meeting aggressive growth targets while maintaining operational excellence

  • Experience with integrated sales and marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention

PAY RANGE:

$279,493 - $399,276 Salary

The posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.
