In Ihrer Rolle als Chemielaborant (m/w/d) Korrosionsschutz werden Sie Teil des weltweiten Teams mit Sitz in Trebur sein, um Kundenanforderungen in MKS Lösungen zu übersetzen. Sie erweitern das bestehende Produktportfolio und helfen bei der Entwicklung und Übergabe neuer Produkte an den Kunden und nehmen an Projekten im Bereich Corrosion Resistant Coatings und Zinc Flake Coatings zur Optimierung unserer Produkte und Prozesse teil. Ihre fachliche Kompetenz ermöglicht es Ihnen, Ihre Aufgaben selbstständig zu strukturieren und auszuführen. Gerne bringen Sie Ihre bisherigen Erfahrungen und Kenntnisse mit ins Team ein.
Ihre Verantwortung
- Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung und Anwendung von Korrosionsschutzschichten in Zusammenarbeit mit dem jeweiligen Projekt- und R&D-Leiter
- Variation von Prozessparametern zur Optimierung der gewünschten Eigenschaften
- Prüfung von Rezepturen und Beschichtungen in Langzeitversuchen im Labor- und Technikumsmaßstab
- Durchführung von Substanzscreenings und Rohstoffprüfungen
- Bewertung von Beschichtungen mittels verschiedener Materialprüfverfahren und geeigneter physikalischer Untersuchungsmethoden wie Korrosionstests, Schichtdickenmessung
- Interpretation und Auswertung der Prüfungen
- Führen eines Laborjournals, das Erstellen von Protokollen und schriftlichen Arbeitsberichten
- Sicherstellung der Betriebsbereitschaft des Labors, einschließlich der Organisation der Reinigung, der Wartung des Chemikalienbestandes und der Geräte
- Selbständiges Arbeiten an zugewiesenen Arbeitspaketen, Koordinierung von Projektaufgaben innerhalb des Projektteams
- Unterstützung von Feldversuchen mit EXPT-Produkten bei Kunden
- Unterstützung bei der Fehlersuche und Ursachenanalyse bei Kundenreklamationen
Ihre Fähigkeiten und Kompetenzen
- Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als Chemielaborant/in, Lacklaborant/in, Oberflächenbeschichter/in, Galvaniseur/in
- Spezialisierung in der Galvanotechnik, Lackchemie, insbesondere in Korrosionsschutzsystemen ist von Vorteil
- Gute organisatorische und kommunikative Fähigkeiten sowie eine strukturierte und methodische Arbeitsweise
- Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
