We're currently seeking experienced Chefs to join our remote operations. Working in a busy camp environment, you'll provide quality meals that help keep our mining communities running safely and efficiently.
The Role
- Prepare meals across breakfast, crib and dinner services
- Work in a high-volume catering environment
- Maintain food safety and HACCP standards
- Deliver consistent quality and presentation
- Work as part of a supportive kitchen team
These are Bus in Bus out roles from Cooma on a 14:7 roster, working 11-hour days. Casual opportunities are available with the potential for permanent placement for high-performing employees.
About You
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
- Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens
- FIFO, DIDO or remote site experience desirable but not essential
- Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to work in remote environments and varying weather conditions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
- Full Australian working rights
