The Mission
We seek an enthusiastic Chapter Lead with a passion for data and people!
You will play a crucial role in creating the data-driven culture. You will be responsible for developing a data analysts team and also delivering valuable insights to improve client experience by applying the latest Analytics interaction techniques in the domain of dialogue systems and natural language processing.
The Chapter Lead’s role is to build, manage and develop a team of data analysts working in developing analytics solutions, acting as a mentor on the technical side, but also as people manager.

Participate in the recruitment of new talents

Provide continuous coaching and mentoring by clarifying job responsibilities, setting performance expectations through the establishment of goals and job competencies, identifying skill gaps, creating development plans and evaluating performance

People management of highly talented data analysts

Collaborate closely with engineering, data scientists and business colleagues across the organization
Data Analysis 60%

Act as a senior data analyst by delivering high quality results in your squad and providing technical guidance in your chapter working with technologies like SQL, Python and visualization tools

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets (both structured and unstructured textual data) in collaboration with data scientists, in order to improve performance of our virtual assistants, based on Google DialogFlow

Management of databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies to optimize data quality. Analyze data and performance levels of our dialogue systems and proactively propose improvements

Communicate these recommendations and provide data / analytical support to the stakeholders using both analytical and business jargon (written and oral)

Work with the product owner to prioritize business and information needs, and accordingly implement them into an analytical approach
We work in a hybrid mode and occasional travelling to Amsterdam will be required.
What you bring to the team:
Experience: 2 years’ experience in coordination roles and at 2-5 years of experience within data reporting & statistics

Experience of doing it with Google DialogFlow

Experience with Conversational AI and chat/callbot improvement of at least 1 year, in the area of discovery, creation, train and improvements of new intents

Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to be able to align with various stakeholders on various levels

Ability to interpret data, analyze results and deliver excellently substantiated data analyses using standard techniques and tools, which lead to improved business decisions or better data quality

Good knowledge of database concepts and database designs

Up to date with the latest industry standards and trends in the area of Data Analysis

Ability to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching.

Ability to apply high level analytical, statistical, and quantitative problem-solving skills to make actionable recommendations based on outcomes

Understanding of Agile – Scrum methodology is considered a plus
Foreign languages: English (advanced); Dutch/French/Spanish/German are a plus
Education: a University degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, Statistics
