The Role

As the Channel Marketing Manager – Events, you’ll be the strategic and executional lead for event media efforts across Highspring and Vaco by Highspring brands. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of our event marketing initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving brand visibility, lead generation, and customer engagement through impactful events, conferences, trade shows, and experiential marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and optimizes the company’s presence at industry events, trade shows, webinars, and partner-hosted activations to ensure brand consistency, audience engagement, and alignment with broader marketing goals
  • Develops and executes multi-channel event promotion strategies across email, digital, and partner platforms to drive awareness, registrations, and ROI
  • Leads internal employee engagement for events by coordinating communications, promoting attendance, and enabling team members to represent the brand effectively
  • Partners with executives to support thought leadership visibility at events through speaking opportunities, branded presentations, and personalized engagement strategies
  • Oversees all aspects of channel marketing related to events, collaborating with sales, partnerships, and product marketing teams to drive demand generation and partner co-marketing
  • Manages event-related web pages, content, and registration workflows to ensure alignment with campaign goals and seamless audience experience
  • Analyzes event performance metrics and partner activation outcomes to inform future event strategies, report on impact, and continuously improve program execution

 Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in events marketing, preferably in a professional services, B2B or talent solutions environment.
  • Proven track record managing both organic and paid event strategies and execution.
  • Deep understanding of social media platform best practices, algorithms, and audience engagement tactics.
  • Experience with employee advocacy platforms (e.g., DSMN8) and executive thought leadership.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, HubSpot, Sprout Social, and major ad platforms.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to pull insights from data and make recommendations.
  • Social Strategy Development – Ability to craft and execute comprehensive organic and paid social media strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Platform Expertise – Deep working knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Meta (Facebook), and emerging platforms.
  • Content Planning & Creation – Strong editorial and visual eye with the ability to collaborate on or oversee the creation of compelling content.
  • Campaign Management – Experience running targeted paid campaigns with clear KPIs and conversion goals.

Multiple locations | Remote eligible with management approval

Travel Requirements:

25% travel 

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

Frequent: Sitting, walking, eye/hand/foot coordination and repetitive motion.

Occasional: Standing and bending.

Infrequent: Lifting up to 10 pounds.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Highspring believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure to be between $70,000 and $90,000. The individual may also be eligible for a variety of bonus and financial incentives based on individual and company performance.
