Role and Responsibilities

How you make a difference
As our Channel Marketeer you ensure the marketing of multiple product groups in the market with assigned key customers, within the strategy and guidelines of Samsung. In order to push sales and create more brand- & product awareness on customer level securing profitable business and secure maximum PLC’s. Furthermore, u create uplift in inhouse sales with out of the box campaigns based on the Samsung and customer identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client specific initiatives; you create and implement promotions and new products together with sales, within the rules and regulations of the company in order to increase the sell-in and sell-out. Hereby you manage the relation with customers and make sure that the end consumer is informed in a correct way by the customer. You set up quarterly roadmaps with customer campaigns and maximize visibility within the budget by negotiating with client on in-store and online visibility. You are the single point of contact and in charge of for creating specific promo communication plan and close follow up on executions. Furthermore, you support sales with the correct communication for promotions, you develop customer experiences for specific clients including budget management, design and planning.

  • Product Launches & National Promotions; you are the single point of contact and in charge of for campaigns and visibility of product launches and promotions in retail environment both online and in-store. Among other things, you are managing the budget, develop POS materials and organize client specific campaigns by negotiating in-store and online visibility and monitoring executions.

  • Budget Management; you manage marketing, co-marketing and COOP-budget requests and follow up internal administrative procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Your team
As a Channel Marketeer at Samsung, you'll be part of a dynamic team in Belgium, consisting of 1 team leader, 3 channel marketers and 1 intern. You will work closely with team members, product managers, sales managers, the marketing & communication team and of course with your clients.

The work pace at Samsung is fast, and flexibility is key, especially when managing major projects and tight deadlines. As a team player, you'll be supported by a dedicated group focused on achieving great results together. Your ability to collaborate and adapt will be essential in driving success within this dynamic environment

What are your assets
As our Channel Marketer, you have excellent communication skills, a commercial mindset and you can perform well under pressure and set the right priorities. Together with the team you work efficiently toward success. Also, your strong relationship and stakeholder management skills enable you to build and maintain valuable partnerships, ensuring alignment and collaboration at all levels.

We also request:

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.

  • Around 3 years of relevant experience as a Channel Marketer or in a similar role.

  • Proficiency in Dutch, English and French at a professional level.

  • Digital Experience is a plus.

  • A flexible and dynamic work attitude.
