Channel Manager (North Luzon)

Position Summary

As the Channel Manager for North Luzon, you will be responsible in managing our business partners in bringing Samsung products to life in the relevant channels. With the focus on achieving our sales and profitability targets, you are responsible for managing Samsung’s existing stores as well as ensuring continuous store expansion. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing Samsung’s exciting array of promotional and merchandising activities.

Role and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities includes, but is not limited to:

• [Sales target management by channel] Prepare to achieve the sales targets that will drive continued growth of the business unit and channel partners
• [Sales strategy setting by channel] Plan the optimal sales strategy that will allow to meet the sales targets by analyzing the assigned channel partner’s performance, customer insights & preferences and products.
• [Sales execution] Carry out sales in ways that focuses on achieving the target based on cooperation with Samsung partners to ensure timely execution of sales initiatives and programs
• [Dealer partnership and risk management] Participate in the building of trust with channel accounts and creation of a foundation for continued revenue growth. Monitor competitive activities that will potentially impact on the Samsung business.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have/be able to:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder, preferably in Business or Marketing
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Territory/Distribution/Channel Management, ideally in the Telco, FMCG, or Retail industry
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and negotiate with key decision-makers
• Has the ability to manage stakeholders from different levels
• Develops professional expertise by complying with company policies and procedures
• Works on problems of moderate scope where analyzing situations or data requires a review on various factors
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
• Normally receives general instructions on routine work with detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
• Must be located in Dagupan and willing to work fully on-site
