We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.

Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is looking to challenge themselves & advance their career in the area of channel and business development in Fleet Services Group Aftermarket DTNA. In this role you will be delving into techno commercial aspects of business with a view to expand/develop sales channels for services. In this role there will be tremendous opportunity to work with market research firms, cross functional teams – finance, dealer operation, sales, Network development, and third party service providers in Aftermarket service products and Connectivity domains. The role is bursting with flavors of complexity offering day to day look into commercial topics like supplier scouting, evaluation, contracting, Quotes, Financing and other enablers leading to services & parts business growth. Fleet services group is a unique organization as it is oriented to Agile practices of digital products and blends with aftermarket service business uniquely thus presenting an opportunity to experience a different approach to channel and business development.

Channel Development and Partner Management is part of Go To Market and Operations department under Director Mr. Sanjay Gupta. Channel development team is parallel to Channel Sales team and we work hand in hand while channel requirements, partners selection and pilot are lead by Channel team and scaling beyond pilot and sales is handled by Channel Sales team.

What You Drive

Research & Market Intelligence Support
  • Conduct structured research on channel models (e.g., VAR, distribution, MSP) and summarize industry best practices
  • Analyze customer segments, product applications, and competitive channel strategies
  • Support development of market landscape views and identification of white-space opportunities

  • Assist in building preliminary business cases, including revenue potential, cost structures, and assumptions
  • Compile and analyze data to support opportunity sizing, pilot evaluation, and performance tracking
  • Maintain and update dashboards for channel KPIs and reporting

Partner & Channel Evaluation Support
  • Support identification and profiling of potential partners
  • Prepare comparison frameworks and summaries to aid partner evaluation
  • Assist in documenting partner capabilities, value propositions, and alignment with channel strategy

  • Contribute to creation of presentations and proposal materials for internal reviews and partner discussions
  • Prepare summaries of key insights, recommendations, and meeting outcomes
  • Assist in structuring content for executive presentations and decision forums

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance, legal) to gather inputs for ongoing projects
  • Track progress of key initiatives, pilots, and deliverables
  • Support documentation of processes, frameworks, and execution plans

  • Assist in tracking pilot performance metrics and documenting learnings
  • Support operational readiness activities such as partner onboarding materials and playbooks
  • Help prepare transition documentation for handover to sales or operations teams

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program or higher or recently graduated within 1 year of the position start date
  • Ability to develop long-term channel strategies aligned with business goals
  • Business modelling and forecasting expertise
  • Ability to managing multiple projects, initiatives, and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationship with channel partners
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Exceptional Candidates May Have

  • Familiarity with digital channels and e-commerce platforms
  • Understanding of relevant technology impacting channels, such as CRM or sales enablement tools
  • Product Understanding, familiarity with truck lifecycle maintenance needs, dealer operations, parts and service sales, Dealer wholesale & retail finance
  • Knowledge of used truck market landscape & used truck warranty features and benefits & Key buyer personas for ASP and CSG products & solutions
  • Business dynamics of the various customer segments
