About the job

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting channel partners focused on process industries, with a strong emphasis on industrial sales accounts across the Eastern United States.

You will drive day-to-day sales activities, serving as the first line of technical support, and ensure seamless coordination between internal teams, customers, and channel partners.

Currently, this is a Hybrid opportunity with Richmond, VA as the preferred location. We will consider individuals working from home offices.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Collaborate with channel development manager to develop and drive partner action plans to increase sales to assigned customers and take market share.

  • Provide technical and commercial support for channels.

  • Collaborate with the P&A team to ensure quotes are competitive and aligned with customer expectations.

  • Conduct educational seminars for channels and customers.

  • Understand competitive landscape, adjusting plans as appropriate.

  • Communicate Alfa Laval updates (corporate, pricing, product) as needed.

  • Collaborate with Channel Development to ensure alignment with channel strategy.

What you know:

You have bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience, and:

  • 3-5 years professional experience related to channel sales management

  • Experience with technical sales and process industries

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The base salary for this role is typically $90,000 - $125,000.
