Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities, consistent with the Prosci (ADKAR) methodology to accelerate business growth.
- Lead the completion of change management assessments to determine impact and associated change strategy.
- Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics related to anticipated resistance and/or maturity gaps to drive decision making to the right level in the organization.
- Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training & competency evaluation plan, resistance management plan.
- Serve as an internal coach and advisor on change management strategies and practices.
- Provides coaching and support to frontline managers/supervisors as they lead direct reports through transitions; to support effective decision making.
- Consults with project teams and Change Practitioners to ensure appropriate change management activities are integrated into their project plans.
- With guidance, advise senior leadership on significant change initiatives and coach executives on how to best fulfill obligations of executive/change sponsor.
- Support training efforts aligned with Enterprise Change Management approach which may include content creation, facilitation of training related to change management, targeted coaching, or other related activities.
- Support the evaluation of Change Management competencies and maturity level of individuals and teams as relevant to achieving transformation projects.
- Develop, define, and measure success metrics and monitor change progress to drive desired behavior and results.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: BS degree required in Business, HR, Communications or related field; Change management certification or designation required (Prosci methodology strongly preferred)
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of large-scale organizational change efforts and a solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools with a focus on how people navigate through transitions. Demonstrated achievement of measurable business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal - with the ability to clearly articulate messages across a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated active listening skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for change management across the organization.
- Proven success influencing others to move towards a common vision or goal.
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and create plans to advance organizational goals forward.
- Strong detail orientation, with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and a change adverse culture.
