A change management specialist focuses on supporting the Change Team in maximizing and optimizing resources and plans utilizing a variety of disciplines.
Change specialists help move organizational change forward by:
Building an awareness of and a desire for committing to change
Supporting employees as they build the proper skills and tools they need to enact change
Establishing a bond of trust and strong two-way communication mechanisms
Collaborating and assist in developing change strategy
Supervision:
The Change Management Specialist does not have supervisory responsibility. This individual reports to and support the Change Lead in IT and will work with and through many others in the organization to succeed.
Essential Duties:
Specific job responsibilities for change management specialists can include but are not limited to:
Partnering on and facilitating needs assessments
Drafting and implementing communications
Coordinating strategy and project plans
Processing feedback and analyzing data around effectiveness of change activities and adoption
Assist in the creation of training programs, including requirements, design, and delivery
Supporting resistance management strategies
Coordinate efforts with other specialized groups with HR and IT as needed to execute change strategies
Skills and Qualifications
A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with change models is a plus
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
Experience with MS Office
Experience data analysis practices and basic data analysis proficiency
Excellent active listening skills.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
Organized and detail oriented
Must be a team player and be able to work collaboratively with and through others.
Familiarity with project management approaches, and tools and phases of the project life cycle.
Prosci Methodology and ADKAR Model to drive successful change is preferred but not required. SAFe Agile Methodology preferred but not required.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $80,000 - $120,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $96,000-$141,600. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
