Job Description

Are you ready to discover the role of a Change and Release Coordinator in Netcompany?

As a Change and Release Coordinator you will:

  • Coordinate the operational changes and releases of all live service elements, with a focus on planning, coordination of resources and activities, version controlling, while maintaining quality and minimising risk
  • Ensure that Release and Change Management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are reported and that their targets are met
  • Coordinate with DevSecOps Engineers and other technical teams for deployments, automation improvements, and release optimisation
  • Collaborate with project and operational teams to ensure effective system change and release implementation
  • Assist in support models set up and in managing the transition of projects and new services into the business-as-usual (BAU) model
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, third parties, etc., to ensure timely change and release implementation and contractual fulfilment, where applicable
  • Follow up on release and operational change activities throughout all stages of the release and change lifecycle

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations and/or IT service management and delivery
  • Experience working within ITIL-aligned frameworks and structured change and release management processes
  • ITIL Foundation certification (or higher)
  • Excellent understanding and practical knowledge of ITIL service management processes, including:
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Change Management
    • Release Management
    • Event Management
    • Knowledge Management
  • Agile or DevOps certification
  • Project Management certification
  • Proficiency with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools as defined or agreed by the Contracting Authority (CA)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools
  • Strong coordination and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a multicultural, multi-vendor operational environment
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple high-priority efforts, competing priorities, and changing requirements, schedules, and priorities

Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations and/or IT service management and delivery
