The Role

As the CFO of Treasury and Wholesale Payments, you will report directly to the Commercial Banking CFO and act as a trusted advisor providing strategic financial leadership and support to the Treasury and Wholesale Payments team and its key product segments including Cash Management, Commercial Cards, Trade Finance, Merchant Services, Payments and Liquidity (Deposit) Management.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing management reporting, business analytics, and financial guidance to support budgeting, forecasting, specific business / product line performance and balance sheet / liquidity management, along with improved growth and profitability initiative management 
  • Coordinating financial processes across the Finance organization and with other key partners supporting the business to deliver seamless integration in financial reporting and analysis activities, including client level profitability analysis to facilitate business decisions.
  • As a core member of the Treasury & Wholesale Payments senior leadership team, you are expected to collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to deliver improvement ideas and enhanced analysis and reporting to better assist in key decision making.
  • Providing guidance on the development of key performance indicators, participating in goal setting activities for the business, providing financial advice on the development of strategic and operating plans for the business, and will be regularly engaged in cross-Commercial projects.
  • Management of an experienced team supporting the business and responsibility for their development and performance management.

Experience and Skills:

  • 10 years of work experience in a finance leadership role with desired experience from within the banking industry
  • Current management experience and experience leading teams
  • Financial Budgeting, Forecasting and Modeling experience – Subject Matter Expert of processes, tools and techniques, ability to monitor performance and explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.
  • Finance, Accounting and Systems experience – Extensive experience in finance and accounting practices and financial analysis. With experience monitoring compliance with organizational standards for financial report writing.
  • Tactical and Strategic Planning experience – Experience with creating and implementing strategies for supporting current and future business needs.
  • Proven ability to communicate and present at leadership and executive leadership levels.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: M-F

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $220,000 - $277,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
