Job Description:

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • High-Volume Scheduling: Accurately and efficiently schedule a large volume of patient appointments and diagnostic procedures, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and timely access to care. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate schedules, address conflicts, and ensure smooth patient flow. 

  • Superior Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to patients by addressing inquiries, resolving scheduling issues, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their interaction with the scheduling process. 

  • Privacy and Confidentiality: Adhere to privacy and confidentiality regulations, ensuring the security of patient records at all times. 

Qualifications: 

  • We seek candidates who embody passion, drive, and a commitment to excellence. Extensive experience in healthcare administration is essential. Ideal candidates will demonstrate: 

  • Medical Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a high-volume healthcare setting, with a focus on diagnostic test scheduling and medical office administration. Experience in a hospital central scheduling environment is preferred. 

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with colleagues. 

  • Customer-Centric Approach: A genuine desire to help others, coupled with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. 

  • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in navigating software applications, including Microsoft Office products, EMR systems, and IM applications. Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. 

  • Phone Skills: Proficiency in operating multiline phone systems, managing multiple calls simultaneously while maintaining professionalism. 

  • Adaptability: Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, multitasking effectively while maintaining attention to detail. 

  • Team Player Mentality: A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive work culture. 

  • Medical Terminology: Familiarity with medical terminology. 

  • HIPAA Knowledge: Understanding of HIPAA regulations with the ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. 

Compensation Information:$21.11 - $36.93

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
