Responsibilities:
- Supports the development of profit and loss (P&L) reporting which enables investment decision making.
- Performs monthly standard and ad-hoc journal entries to ensure that spending is correctly accrued or reclassed in the general ledger.
- Supports audit functions, reviews results, corrects invoice data errors, and creates data files for JEs as needed.
- Generates monthly comparison reports such as overhead budget information, distribution and depletion reports.
- Prepares forecasts and trend documents.
- Performs functions in support of monthly business reviews with Business Units and cross functional partners.
- Creates or modifies reporting, spreadsheets and performs ad-hoc research and assignments as directed by the Manager of Sales Finance utilizing multiple sources of data.
- Prepares reports for management review and recommends action or change for assigned projects.
- Supports detailed analysis and research utilizing multiple sources of data.
- Participates in the annual financial planning process.
- Supports the adoption of finance principles throughout the organization.
- Implements updates in various systems such as SAP, AO, Anaplan, and Vistaar/PAR (budgets, actuals, and forecast).
- Conducts special financial and business-related studies and projects as requested.
- Works cross-functionally to support the delivery of the sales and customer OGSMs, embedding initiatives required in supporting functions.
- Adapts, implements, and documents process improvements and provides recommendations for improved efficiencies and results.
- Maintains satisfactory attendance, including timeliness.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- 2-4 years of finance, accounting, audit, or booking experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Skilled in the use of MS Excel at an intermediate to advanced level
- Good communication and organization skills
- Skilled at adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Skilled in the use of enterprise systems such as SAP, and applications such as AO, Anaplan, and Microstrategy.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet aggressive deadlines, and make sound decisions while using discretion when dealing with confidential information.
- Experience in effectively presenting information to top management and public groups.
- Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
- Skilled at writing correspondence, Intermediate MS Word and MS Outlook email skills.
- Must be willing to work night shift schedules (US hours) and during PH Holidays.
- Must be able to work at Alabang, Muntinlupa when work in the office resumes (temp WFH).
