The Role

Mimecast is looking for a driven Channel Business Development Representative based Hybrid in Chicago, IL to generate and nurture sales leads for our SaaS-based email and information services. In this new role ou will work from the CDW office alongside their SMB sales teams and Channel Account Managers (CAMs), driving new business through a mix of warm leads and cold calling.

What You'll Do:

  • Follow up on CDW marketing campaigns to effectively qualify and nurture leads.
  • Work with CDW's SMB sales teams to generate joint business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to create targeted lists and drive new business.
  • Engage in cold calling with professionalism and confidence, promoting Mimecast's key services.
  • Secure meetings and opportunities for the broader Mimecast team.

What You'll Bring:

  • CDW experience and/or connections are required for this role.
  • A motivated, high-performing mindset with couple of years of relevant experience, ideally as an Account Manager or Senior BDR/SDR experience.
  • A team player who thrives on building relationships, both internally and with CDW's teams.
  • Coachable with the ability to take feedback and apply it for continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), with an aptitude for networking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with lead generation tools.
  • A driven individual with the willingness to pursue a sales career or seek out other promotional opportunities within a hyper-growth company.
