Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Responsibilities:
- Data Modeling, Schemas, and Identity
- Refine, implement, and maintain XDM schemas, datasets, and dataset mappings within Adobe AEP and RTCDP.
- Enable datasets for Profile, ensuring data quality, completeness, consistency, and alignment with enterprise data models.
- Implement and support identity resolution configurations including identity namespaces, linkages, and profile merging logic.
- Validate profile formation, identity stitching accuracy, and attribute availability for segmentation and activation.
- Data Ingestion and Transformation
- Implement and support ingestion pipelines including batch, streaming, SDK, and API-based ingestion into RTCDP.
- Work with Solution Architects and Data Engineers to apply data transformations, Data Prep rules, and real-world data mappings.
- Ensure ingestion pipelines adhere to architectural standards, governance requirements, and privacy controls.
- Troubleshoot ingestion failures, mapping errors, transformation issues, and identity conflicts.
- Segmentation, Activation, and Enablement
- Assist with segmentation readiness by validating attributes, events, datasets, and identity availability.
- Configure destination connectors and support activation flows across marketing, analytics, and personalization ecosystems.
- Partner with marketing activation teams to ensure proper data availability for audience creation and personalization use cases.
- Support downstream integrations between RTCDP and activation platforms.
- Data Quality, Operations, and Governance
- Develop and execute data validation processes including schema validation, anomaly detection, identity checks, and dataset monitoring.
- Configure and manage AEP sandboxes across development, testing, and production environments.
- Maintain documentation for data flows, datasets, mappings, ingestion processes, and governance controls.
- Partner with privacy and governance teams to implement role-based access controls, consent management, and compliance workflows.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with the Lead CDP Architect to implement scalable, governed data models and ingestion frameworks.
- Collaborate with Consultants, Data Scientists, and Analysts to write queries and support segmentation, reporting, and model readiness.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in CDP automation, operational efficiency, and delivery best practices.
- Participate in technical working sessions, backlog refinement, and release validation activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 or more years of experience in data engineering, MarTech engineering, CDP operations, or related technical roles.
- Hands-on experience implementing customer data platforms or adjacent data activation platforms.
- Experience working with modern CDP platforms such as Adobe RTCDP, Segment, Tealium, mParticle, Hightouch, RudderStack, or comparable solutions.
- Strong understanding of XDM schemas or comparable event and profile data models.
- Experience implementing batch and real-time data ingestion using APIs, SDKs, streaming frameworks, and ETL or ELT processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data transformation and validation workflows.
- Experience with APIs, streaming ingestion, and event-based data collection patterns.
- Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Working knowledge of consent, privacy, and data governance frameworks including GDPR and CCPA.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions such as Adobe Journey Optimizer, Analytics, or Target is a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
