About the role
We are looking to add a Class A CDL Driver to our growing Maintenance Department. As a CDL Driver you will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment safely and efficiently between our operational sites and partners with a 1-Ton truck and a gooseneck trailer. This position will directly support our Maintenance operations at our Corsicana Facility. This role will follow a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
What you'll be doing
- Safely transport equipment, parts, and materials to and from Riot Platforms’ facilities and designated locations, ensuring the integrity of all loads
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is safe to operate and comply with safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or manual labor as necessary
- Maintain accurate logs of miles driven, delivery times, and any incidents, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues to the appropriate department for prompt repair, ensuring the truck is in good working condition
- Assist in daily functions in the Shop as needed
What you'll have
- Class A Valid CDL License: including valid medical card
- Must have a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 5 years
- In-depth knowledge of all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift certification or previous experience operating heavy machinery is a plus
- Minimum 1 year experience of CDL driving
Physical requirements and work environment
- Must be physically able to climb ladders and access tight or awkward spaces as required.
- Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and pull, with good manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (50 Pounds)
- Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat, noise, etc.)
- Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures
Safety Requirements
- PPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots).
- Hazard Awareness: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
- Standards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.
- Organization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.
