CCTech - Associate SDM

We are looking for an experienced Associate Software Development Manager (SDM) to support and lead delivery efforts for the digital infrastructure project. The role involves managing agile software teams, coordinating sprints, and ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with project timelines.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Scrum-based software development, stakeholder coordination, and government or enterprise-scale digital project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Project Management

• Manage day-to-day software development activities for assigned modules within the  project.
  
• Plan, monitor, and deliver sprint commitments using Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
  
• Coordinate with solution architect, BAs, and QA teams for requirement clarity and sprint execution.
  
• Track project metrics — velocity, sprint burn-down, and release readiness.
  

2. Team Leadership

• Lead a cross-functional team of developers, testers, and DevOps engineers.
  
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  
• Mentor engineers and ensure adherence to coding standards and DevOps practices.
  
• Identify and address team roadblocks proactively.
  

3. Technical Governance

• Work with architects and technical leads to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.
  
• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with system architecture.
  
• Support integration and deployment planning in collaboration with DevOps teams.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across delivery practices.
  

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with stakeholders, system integrators, and vendors.
  
• Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
  
• Ensure transparent communication across delivery and client teams.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in software delivery, with at least 3–4 years in team or delivery management roles.
  
• Strong knowledge of Scrum/Agile frameworks and sprint execution.
  
• Technical background in web application or cloud platform development (.NET, Node.js, or similar).
  
• Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Projects.
  
• Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong communication in English and Hindi; Gujarati proficiency is a plus.
  
• Exposure to government or infrastructure technology programs preferred.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
  
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM / PSM) preferred.
  
• Experience working with GIS, data analytics, or infrastructure management systems.
  
• Familiarity with national digital programs is a plus.
