CB IB Operations and Controls - Clearing and Settlement Analyst - Account Open Team Lead - Associate

Details of the Division and Team:

Operations is responsible for driving the planning and the day-to-day management of the business to align with the bank's mission and strategic goals. Operations set the direction and manage performance to bank targets with a focus on continual performance improvement. Work includes:

• Identifying and prioritizing product and service improvement opportunities and creating plans for implementation

• Utilising comprehensive knowledge of the company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business

• Supporting bank strategy, proactively identifying and managing areas of risk

• Maintaining relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including regulators, market vendors and internal divisions

• Communicating changes to operational requirements and their impact on relevant processes and controls

Your key responsibilities:

• Manage and lead account opening team for FINI account opening process and system project 

• Statement, reporting, reconciliation and monthly invoice

• Participant in system enhancement for clients’ request and market change

• Support client requests and inquiries for account opening  

• Support internal/external audit for risk control purpose

• Support Business on client due diligence

• Work with Custody Ops head and other team leads to ensure implementation of local aspects or product strategy and change

• Provide recommendations for process improvement and cost saving

• Communicate with all stakeholders internally and externally related to account opening processing
  Risk control management on account opening processing 

Your skills and experience:

• 5 years’ experiences in banking or custodian function

• Basic knowledge of FINI system in Taiwan market

• Understanding of custody FINI registration, account opening process and applicable regulations

• People Management and Risk control related experience

• Project management experience

• Good communication skill (Both English and Mandarin)

• Ability to work independently

Qualifications:

• Trust License is a must

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Business management, or relevant function
