Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Area Chef Manager to manage a group of schools within the BEBCMAT Trust. Previous catering and operational management experience is essential. This is a 40-week role working Monday – Friday (term time plus 2).

Being commercially astute is also essential for this role and in addition to this you will need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up and help the teams when you need to.

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure. Salary dependant on experience.

Skills Required

  • Previous catering and operational management experience
  • Experience managing multiple school sites or teams
  • Proven leadership ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
  • Commercially astute with financial awareness
  • Willingness to perform hands-on duties and support teams
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure (must complete)
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, term time plus 2 (40-week role)
