Responsibilities
- Follow-up of new trends in the market and competitor analysis,
- Developing business relations with local brands and distributors of worldwide known brands in the retail sector,
- Conducting commercial negotiations with brands and suppliers and securing the most profitable deals.
- Increasing the engagement of the brands and suppliers about the commercial actions with marketing support or discounts etc.
- Optimizing stock turnover rates, establishing a healthy stock balance
- Meticulously managing the product "go-live" process.
- Determining pricing strategies, increasing sales momentum by using campaigns and promotional tools and managing Buy Box competition.
- Approaching manual and inefficient processes with a critical perspective. Suggesting improvements focused on automation and efficiency.
- Executing and also reporting all operational processes of the category team,
- Arranging coordination between Operation Department and the Brands
- Partnering with marketing and technology teams for the best shopping experience.
Expected Qualifications
- University degree (preferably engineering, business administration and economy faculties)
- min 4 years of experience in category management or a related role with a focus on key account management, inventory management and commercial operations,
- Exceptional communication, persuasion and team working skills,
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills,
- Project or process management experience is a plus,
- Able to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
- High level analytical skills,
- Active user of MS Office programs,
- Data-driven decision-making: Proactive and curious, with a passion for exploring detail and using data to drive clarity and decision-making.
- Strong communication skills: Able to convey complex ideas in a simple and impactful way, with a genuine and thoughtful communication style.
- Collaborative approach: Builds effective relationships at all levels, valuing diverse perspectives.
- This position includes senior specialist and executive titles/roles.
