OVERVIEW:
Category Merchandising & Strategic Program Management
Develop and implement drop ship growth strategies to maximize revenue and profitability of the program
Partner with eCommerce Category Merchandising teams to identify assortment gaps and expansion opportunities informed by data and athlete insights.
Monitor and manage vendor compliance with SLAs and performance standards.
Oversee onboarding timelines and throughput for new vendors and new styles ensuring seamless “go live” execution.
Operational & Site Experience Management
Collaborate cross functionally to implement process improvements and resolve issues.
Document and communicate standards and best practices for vendors to achieve success with our drop shop program.
Audit site experience and ensure accurate product listings, compelling descriptions, and compliance with best practices and standards.
Monitor and report on KPIs, including demand revenue, fulfillment, order speed, fulfillment accuracy, and vendor performance.
Analytics & Strategic Planning
Monitor and analyze drop ship program performance, identify trends, and opportunities to inform decision-making.
In partnership with our eCommerce Planning team, develop reporting to monitor performance and compliance.
Provide actionable insights to influence assortment decisions and optimize profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Internal advocate and liaison for the drop ship program, ensuring eCommerce Merchandising, Tech, Operations, and Customer Service are aligned for success.
Facilitate communication and change management across internal and external stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and innovative projects to grow the VDC program.
Developing Talent and Teammate Engagement
Contribute to eComm Merchandising team by leading teams to apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals by establishing common objectives and a shared mindset
Manage execution responsibilities and workload of direct reports to achieve department deliverables on time and with quality.
Develops talent through coaching, feedback, exposure, and stretch assignments in order to meet their own career goals as well as the organization’s priorities
Partner with department leadership to establish strategic staffing and succession plans; successfully deliver on proposed staffing objectives.
Drive the talent selection process in alignment with the company’s talent philosophy for open direct reporting positions; Ensure all direct reports are appropriately trained and on-boarded.
Drive engagement by creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives; focus on voice of teammate data (e.g., Engagement & Pulse results), partnering with organization leadership to drive necessary changes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
10-15 years experience in eCommerce merchandising, category management or dropship operations
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, direct experience not required but will need to work closely with: Syndigo, Logic Broker, and Power BI systems.
Strong ability to analyze large data sets and discover insights that can lead to process and technology improvements
Ability to communicate across several levels in the organization such as peers and executives
Ability to influence and lead change across multiple stakeholders
Capability to effectively oversee both direct and indirect teams.
