eBay Live is a new way to sell on eBay, where sellers and buyers interact live on video. eBay sellers build buyer trust, expand their customer base, and grow repeat business through consistent and engaging live streams on eBay Live. eBay buyers can view, chat, ask questions, give feedback, vote, and buy online during eBay Live selling.

We are looking for a Category Manager who can join this exciting growing programme and play a pivotal role in driving scale and success. You will work closely with our sellers to help them succeed on this new platform, and be responsible for delivering GMV targets. You will be responsible for advocating for your sellers, for understanding our platform and how it needs to change, and helping us build a program that scales. 

What you will accomplish:

• Bring market expertise to deliver eBay Live GMV target 

• Develop positive relationships with strategic sellers to build out programming and recruit new sellers to the platform

• Shepherd sellers through the onboarding process, helping us identify issues and build processes, tools, and workarounds to address them

• Understand drivers of success on the eBay live platform and mentor your portfolio of sellers accordingly - across assortment, live host, production, selling formats, marketing, etc. 

• Advocate for sellers with cross functional teams

• Work closely with the core Collectibles & Fashion categories alongside Marketing teams to drive success 

What you will bring: 

• Experience and interest in live selling formats 

• Category management experience preferably in Collectables and/or Fashion

• Strong understanding of our platform 

• Project management, organisation, and partner engagement skills 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills 

• Customer emotional intelligence

• Ability and willingness to travel to support events including at weekends
