In this role, you support the procurement strategy by leading the end-to-end strategic sourcing and contract management processes. Strategic sourcing duties will include, market analysis, identifying business requirements, leading RFPs, leading contract negotiations and execution support. Manage existing vendor contractual relationships including renewals, terminations, ongoing monitoring and performance monitoring for their assigned category(ies). Support the day-to-day delivery of other procurement functions including process monitoring, spend analysis, reporting, and end-user support.
Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the overall source-to-pay cycle
  • Serve as a central point of contact for strategic sourcing activities for assigned category(ies)
  • Cultivate internal and external relationships to drive results, savings and build credibility for the Procurement team
  • Demonstrate analytical skills to be able to understand the drivers of assigned category(ies) and create and document appropriate sourcing strategies
  • Analyze the market and current supplier spending within assigned category(ies) and make sourcing, demand management and cost reduction recommendations
  • Report the execution of RFPs, RFQ's or RFIs in assigned category(ies)
  • Monitor compliance with procurement policies and procedures and assist in improving efficiencies related to procurement
  • Maintain contract information and integrity of data in the contract management system and ensure contracts and supporting documents are compliant with internal policy and federal and state regulations
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, monitor vendor's performance to ensure that contract terms and SLAs are being met and monitor external sources for potential vendor risks
  • Perform spend diagnostics that lead to the identification and implementation of cost-saving/efficiency opportunities and maintain KPI and spend reporting to management
  • Represent procurement function on enterprise projects and initiatives


Education:

  • Bachelors Degree - Accounting, Finance or related


Years of Experience:

  • 2 years - Procurement, vendor management or related
  • Knowledge of procurement systems such as Determine or Coupa
  • Knowledge of insurance requirements, legal terminology of purchase, licensing and professional services contracts


In Lieu of Education:

  • 5 years - Procurement, vendor management or related
