Job Description:
This associate will be responsible for performance tracking and insight generation for Mars Petcare US. This is a great opportunity for a strong analyst to leverage existing skills (data manipulation, data visualization) while building business facing skills (insights, exposure to Sales leadership team; part of larger Revenue Growth Management team) under the direction of a very focused insights team.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Experience working with syndicated (Nielsen, IRI, etc) and/or retailer specific (Retail Link, 10/10, etc) data sources
- Ability to visualize data and tell a compelling story to drive action
- Previous experience in CPG industry
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Produces periodic and ad-hoc reporting for sales leadership and key planning activities and supporting tools (full year plan delivery, annual targets planning, key account reviews, executive reviews, etc.)
- Provide market and sales fundamental analytics to assist sales leadership assessment to drive decisions regarding risks & opportunities
- Build collaborative, cross functional relationships with VP’s of Sales, BDMs of Reporting & Analytics and Systems and Demand Planning to ensure key initiatives across roles are aligned and streamlined.
- Build reporting dashboards via own capabilities (Excel, Power Bi, etc.) and/or utilization of 3rd Party resources with RGM Info Delivery Business Manager.
